For 29 consecutive years, the Aegean Group has been close to the inhabitants of small and remote islands, offering multi-level services, highlighting social solidarity as the factor that upgrades the living conditions of the inhabitants of our islands.
The services of the Aegean Group include medical examinations (with more than 20 medical specialties), operation of special clinics, such as POST COVID and Breast Clinic, microbiological / biochemical examinations, use of the latest technology equipment, such as the unique portable chest ultrasound scanner for lung diseases, portable ultrasound device for multi-type examinations, dental equipment.
The medical work of the Aegean Group through its collaborations with the Hellenic Pulmonological Society (H.P.E.), the Hellenic Rheumatological Society & Professional Association of Rheumatologists of Greece (H.P.E.-EP.E.R.E.), the Hellenic Anticancer Society (H.A.E.), the Hellenic Dermatological Society (H.D.S.) and the Hellenic Cardiological Society (H.C.S.).
Through the cooperation with the Hellenic Cross, First Aid training is provided to students of all levels and to every resident of the islands.
The Aegean Group constructs infrastructure projects (free access ramps to the sea for the disabled, kindergartens, sports fields, playgrounds and many others), provides equipment to schools, medical equipment to the Regional Clinics, while at the same time it organises cultural and sporting events as well as seminars on topical issues.
Team Aegean, holds its annual crossing in May and a Mission in October. Our team volunteers work all year round, both for the proper preparation of the Missions, the coordination of the implementation of the projects and to meet the current needs of the islands.
The action of the Aegean Team is focused on the Man, our fellow man, the Greek islander, who needs our support and we need his existence and well-being where he lives and develops.
